Hurricane Hanna and 13 Year Old Boys

By admin | September 7, 2008

So Hannah has blown over and did very little damage in our area. I have a few shingles to replace on the roof, but other than that, all is good here.

But today Hurricane Gannon struck. A hurrincane of the 13 year old male persuasion. Hormones blazing, had a major melt down and required some father son talking. Overall he is a really good kid and does very well in school and out of school.

Anyway, I just love the mentality of “it has always been done this way”. It is one of my biggest pet peeves. Yes, if it works, why fix it? Well, if it can be done more efficiently with less waste of resources, it should be fixed. Sometimes you might lose some interst or clients from the change, but iif your savings in resources makes up for this loss, then it is worth it. Right?
