As I posted last week, all commissions earned from Brochin.net, until 24 February will be donated to The Brothers in Arms Foundation. So if you are looking for anything IT or Telecommunications related, what better feeling than to know when you purchase that the sales commission goes to some very deserving people.
Come one, come all to the greatest show on Earth known as Washington D.C. politics. I really enjoyed the President’s State of the Union address. What I enjoyed even more is that after the speech, they interviewed two congressmen, asked them about President Obama’s call to end the partisan cut throat politics and how did they answer…by bickering and hacking away at each other…guess someone wasn’t paying attention to the speech.
Starting now, for the next month, 100% of all comissions earned through Brochin.net will be donated to the Brothers in Arms Foundation. After this first month we will be donating 50% of all profits to this foundation and others for at least the next year.
Please help me help these wounded warriors. I have personally served with one of them in the past. These warrior’s families need our help as well. Lets stop paying this lip service. Please read the following article and see if you have a reality check.
I finally finished the homepage and other internal pages for Brochin.net. I still have several tweaks, but the site is almost fully functional. The cost comparison calculators work, the members area is working which contains the e-books, software and web templates and tutorials. The article directory is also functional and of course the blog.
The only thing left to finish is the Expert forum in the members area. Still working on design, layout and functionality as well as recruiting the experts who are willing to share some of the expertise and time for free.
So it looks like we will be mvoing away on the 24th. Yea, I know, that came pretty quick. It all hinged off the flight windows out of Seattle and LA to Okinawa. Since we are traveling there during the Christmas and New Years holiday season, flights are packed and in a 10 day flight window they could only find us one flight to Seattle in those ten days. We also had a hard time finding a flight to Seattle from Raleigh.
This weekend we had to take a big step back and look at how to re-position Brochin.net over the next 2-3 years while we operate primarily online. That said, we are making some major renovations so you will see the homepage down for a while, but the blog is still up. With the new overhaul we will be offering several tutorials, e-books, software and scripts for your small business IT and Telecomm needs.

We hope to have Rhino Articles moved into the Web 2.0 world in the next couple of months. Delays in programming have stalled it. However, once finished you will not see but one or two directories online even similar to it.
The last couple of days I have been tooling around qith Squidoo.
I have had a lens or two at Squidoo since 2006, but never really did anything with them.
I logged in the other day and seen where I had a few comments pending and had a few visitors over the last week for a lens I haven’t even updated in about 120 days.
That said I think I am going to be tooling around with it some more after I read up on some materials I have regarding using Squidoo.
Alright, so now that I nearly have everything situated for Rhinoarticles.com, I have the plan put together for Phase 2, which is adding a paid membership. The paid membership will add many more features to the directory allowing members to optimize their articles that much more with images, video, audio and more.
So this week, I decided to give some of my websites and overhaul as well as change up some strategies to drive more traffic to them. Only a little time will tell if it works out.

We have also made a break through with the new website and are on the downhill slope. Be assured that this will be a great tool for anyone looking to have a residual form of fundraising for their organization or just to make some cash on the side.
It is daytona 500 weekend and I am honestly excited.
I have grown so bored with the current state of NASCAR, but Daytona always warrants attention and is always exciting. Probably won’t watch another race again this year, except maybe Bristol, but today will be exciting.
Yea, NASCAR needs to get its head out of its butt and realize that the “stock car” in National Association of Stock Car Racing should mean STOCK CAR!!!
Not some Indy car with a shell over it.
Oh well, can’t change something when all the sheep continue to pay to watch it.
