Another week down and getting started on the long memorial day weekend. Watched a good playoff game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic last night. Lebron James showed he was definitely the league MVP with the game winning shot right before the buzzer sounded.
Looking at watching Angels and Demons this weekend along with some other movies. Supposed to meet up this weekend with some old friends I was stationed with before and of course I am sure it will involve some beer:)
Nursing a groin strain over the last two days. It doesn’t seem to be bothering me today, but I was always told once you feel good, wait one more day. The body can fool you sometimes. So I will be at it again tomorrow.
Some may know I have been running exclusively on the treadmill and using an elliptical trainer for sometime now since my back surgeries have kept me from pounding the pavement. For people that run on treadmills, they know it can be very boring. I use several types of treadmill workouts to break up the boredom and have been burning fat running on the treadmills right and left. I think I may place this into an electornic book format for all to read and use in the near future.
Well, not much to update anyone about at this point..

A husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart.
The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.
‘What do you think you’re doing?’ asks the wife.
‘They’re on sale, only $10 for 24 cans,’ he replies.
‘Put them back, we can’t afford them,’ demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.
A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.
‘What do you think you’re doing?’ asks the husband
‘Its my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,’ replies the wife.
Her husband retorts: ‘So does 24 cans of Budweiser and its half the price.
On the PA system: ‘Cleanup needed on aisle 25, we have a husband down’.

Still in 29 Palms California for school and will be until June12th. This place is just blah! Nothing but rocks and sand. However, the sunsets can be very nice sometimes.
This week went well. Finished off the CompTIA Network+ classes. We took the test on Thursday and passed easily. I think I will be studying on my own and try to take the Security+ test before I leave here. Hopefully in the next year or two I can decide exactly where I want to focus, as far as a specific field, then I can get some more specialized certifications.
Being away from the family really stinks sometimes. This little room can get very lonely in the evenings. Usually fill the time with lots of movies. This weekend I was able to watch the new Underworld, Taken, and Caprica. I was also able to catch up on the 24 series this season.
I should be getting out next weekend to do some shopping for Kim and the boys. Looking for a soccer specific store in the area. If anyone knows of one close to Palm Springs, let me know.
